I apologize for joining Twitter -- something I said I'd never do. Twitter, to my mind, is a powerful societal force that sends us careening all the faster toward utter stupidity. The notion that speed of delivery is a substitute for intelligent content is the evil root of the thing. I'm reminded of the related notion that the bigger a painting is, the better it is.
Which, of course, is not true.
My handle, if that's even the right word, is @GVRaymond. I have three followers; one of whom appears to be a pornographer, based on her profile. This, I must say, makes me happy.

Which was interesting because I didn't know he was selling it.
Not that that's a problem. I mean, he paid a fair price at the time and it's his to sell if he chooses. I anticipate following the events closely. I realized I couldn't do so without joining Twitter. So I did. I apologize.
