Astronaut painting

I'm a bit clogged up.

The problem is this detail of the lower left corner of the painting ...

I like the idea of the NYT front page coverage of Sandy Hook peeking through in a relatively legible manner on a painting titled The Myth of American Exceptionalism.  And I just know I'm going to get more paint on it than I want.  And I'm paralyzed.  I'm in tatters.  Shattered.

So I'm thinking that staring at it and experiencing self-loathing might be the best course of action.

Which is where I currently stand.

I wish my friend Dave was here.  He'd know what to do.
