Flag/Father's Day
Troy has one of the biggest Flag Day parades in the country. So that was great. And Daughters #1 and 2 slept over last night for a week-early Father's Day celebration. Which was fabulous. So what's not to like?
Well, I'd have preferred if Sebastian Vettel hadn't won the Canadian Grand Prix (which I attended last year). And I'd have preferred if Serena Williams hadn't won the French Open. And if the Mets have to go twenty innings, I'd prefer that they not lose 2-1 (what a despicable spectacle that was). And in a perfect world, they'd produce more than ten episodes of Game of Thrones a year.
But these are but quibbles when we think about stuff like world peace.
Which is why, here at The Year of Magical Painting, we usually stick with the quibbles.
