And just a little more about the Martoma painting

I put the painting into ArtRage and revised it, removing any trace of a face in the middle ...

I also put a little frame around it, so you can envision it on your wall.  And it should be noted that messing around with ArtRage (my favorite computer painting program) just gives you a sense of the idea -- the execution is sometimes wanting.  But there you are.

I think the next time I unroll it, I'm going to pull out a tube of titanium white and make the changes permanent.
